WeatherMVP helps users manage event weather, sports schedules, check-ins, venue discovery, weather alerts, cards and rewards, Stadium Chatter, and related outdoor activity planning features.WeatherMVP is operated by Social Snowball LLC.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly. Please read this policy carefully.

Depending on how you use WeatherMVP, we may collect:

• Account information: email address, username, display name, profile photo, and account settings.
• Home ZIP code: used for local weather and alert calibration. Never publicly displayed.
• Location data: GPS coordinates, check-in locations, event venue GPS, and nearby venue data. Collected when you use location-based features.
• Event and schedule data: events you create, import, or manage, including dates, times, sport types, and venues.
• Venue and check-in data: venues you create, edit, or claim; check-in history and timestamps.
• Stadium Chatter: messages, likes, reports, and session data from temporary venue chats.
• Friends and social data: friend connections, friend requests, and nearby discovery activity (opt-in).
• Cards and rewards: earned cards, check-in streaks, and badge activity.
• Notification preferences and tokens: push notification settings and device tokens.
• Uploaded files and images: schedule images uploaded for import; venue photos if submitted.
• Device and usage data: device identifiers, app version, operating system, and interaction data.
• Analytics and diagnostics: usage patterns and crash/performance data.
• Audio personalization: if you opt in, a preferred spoken name you provide is stored and used only for audio forecast playback. This is disabled by default and never shared publicly.
• Advertising data: if Google AdMob or similar SDKs are active, they may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data as described in Section I.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide weather alerts, event risk assessments, and outdoor planning tools
• Calculate event and venue weather conditions
• Support check-ins, venue discovery, and cards/rewards
• Operate Stadium Chatter and social features
• Send notifications you have opted into
• Improve app performance, reliability, and features
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations
• Provide customer support
• Display ads (where applicable)
• Comply with legal obligations

WeatherMVP uses location to support event weather forecasts, nearby venue discovery, check-ins, directions, Stadium Chatter proximity, and weather alerts.

Your live location is not publicly displayed. Your home ZIP code is never shown publicly. Precise GPS history is not shared with other users. Event weather calculations use event or venue GPS coordinates, not necessarily your live device location.

Check-in visibility may be shared with friends based on your privacy settings. You can manage location permissions at any time through your device settings. Some features may not work without location access.

Users may create content in WeatherMVP, including Stadium Chatter messages, venue tips, venue names and edits, profile information, and shared card previews.

You are responsible for the content you submit. You should not post private or sensitive information about yourself or others in public-facing features such as Stadium Chatter or venue tips.

WeatherMVP may moderate or remove content that violates our Terms of Service.

Users may connect as friends by searching by username. Friends may see allowed profile and activity information depending on your privacy settings.

Private information — including your email address, password, precise GPS history, home ZIP code, and account credentials — is never shared with other users, including friends.

Nearby discovery features are opt-in only. You may disable nearby discovery at any time in Settings.

Check-ins and weather/event activity may unlock digital cards and rewards. Cards have no monetary value and cannot be sold or transferred.

Shared card previews are designed to be public-shareable. Private event details, GPS history, and personal data are not included in card preview links.

WeatherMVP may send notifications for: severe weather alerts, event risk changes, schedule reminders, card unlocks, Stadium Chatter activity, and session-related alerts.

You may manage notification preferences in the WeatherMVP Settings or through your device notification settings. Notification delivery is not guaranteed and should not be relied upon for emergency weather decisions.

WeatherMVP may use third-party advertising and analytics services, including Google AdMob and Google Analytics. These services may collect:

• Device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• Usage and interaction data
• Diagnostics and crash data
• Advertising-related data for ad targeting and measurement

On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework will prompt you before tracking occurs. You may decline tracking; ads will still appear but may be less personalized.

Ads will not cover safety alerts or active weather warnings. Ad targeting complies with applicable privacy laws.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

• Service providers: hosting, analytics, advertising, weather data, and location/mapping providers who are bound by data protection agreements.
• Law enforcement: when required by law, court order, or to protect safety.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality requirements.

Third-party SDKs (e.g. Google AdMob) operate under their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com.

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon verified account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe.

Some records (e.g. content moderation logs, financial records, security logs) may be retained for legal, security, or business compliance purposes even after account deletion.

You can delete your WeatherMVP account at any time:

• In-app: Settings → Account Control → Request to Delete Account
• By email: Contact support@weathermvp.app with the email address associated with your account.

Deletion removes your profile, events, check-ins, messages, friends list, and personal data. Some anonymized or aggregated records (e.g. venue check-in counts) may be retained. Processing may take up to 30 days.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will delete that information as required by law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has created an account or provided us personal information, contact us immediately at support@weathermvp.app. We will investigate and delete the information promptly.

WeatherMVP may request camera or photo library access for venue photo uploads and schedule image imports. Camera or photo access is used only when you explicitly choose to use those features. We do not access your camera or photos without your direct action.

You may disable camera and photo access at any time through your device settings.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at support@weathermvp.app immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. For material changes, we will notify users through the app or by email where possible.

Continued use of WeatherMVP after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
